Mid-Autumn Dinner

sdinner

On Wednesday, I was invited by Jessie (淑燕) and her friends for dinner at her place. The date of mid-autumn festival adheres to the moon calender and usually falls into September or October on a full moon. It is to thank the gods for the harvest (similarly to thanksgiving). On this public holiday, people meet their family and friends to have a barbecue. This year, however, as there was a typhoon, there was not so much barbecue.

We initially wanted to go to the Maokong Gondola, but due to the typhoon, Jessie’s home was chosen as alternative location. We had a great meal and afterwards played a fun game.
